Meet the baker

Hi, I’m William.

My professional work is in law and business consultancy. But for more than 16 years, another passion has been part of my life: creating cakes.

During my years living abroad, I carefully developed that passion, refining my recipes and decorating skills. Now I have returned to my home country, and it is here in Glasgow that I am bringing The Cake Next Door to life.

The Cake Next Door is my small home bakery. You’ll work directly with me on every cake, from the first idea to the final detail.
